Speaking of window films...

Jillian's post about window films reminded me of this cool project that was featured in the Spring 2011 issue of Do It Yourself Magazine.

Their idea was to apply a window film to the underside of a piece of acrylic furniture, like the coffee table pictured above. I think it is really pretty and a unique idea for refreshing a piece of furniture.

The window film featured in this photo is by designer Emma Jeffs, and she has lots of other patterns available at 2JANE.

I was thinking that this pretty design would look amazing when adhered to the super wide frame of this mirror, like this:

What do you think?  Any different ideas of ways to use this?
