Have you ever heard of Muji? It's a Japanese department store (with locations in various countries and now in New York as well) that sells a wide range of products from stationery and housewares to bags and furniture. What is striking about the products in this store, though, is the simplicity of them. So clean -- very basic with no frills -- but everything is thoughtfully designed and good-looking at the same time.
