Rhinebeck, NY

For years I've heard about the Hudson River Valley and recently had the opportunity to go for the weekend. My mom and I traveled there and fell in love with the town of Rhinebeck. 

It's an adorable town with pretty buildings, great shops and restaurants, and lots of colorful bits whether you're looking up at he multi-colored trim on this shop

or down at the fall flowers and arrangement.

My three favorite things about the town? The stationery and gift shop, Paper Trail (I have the same chandelier in my bedroom!),

this delicious French bistro restaurant (loved the steak frites!),

and this stunning chandelier.

I saw it in the window of a liquor store. I just wish I knew where to find one for myself!
