A Visit to Isabella Sparrow

If you had a chance to shop at Clover Market this year, chances are you discovered Isabella Sparrow, where vintage home accessories and reproduction pieces easily captured the day. Lucky for us, Isabella Sparrow has a new home right in Bryn Mawr, PA! I had a chance to stop by during the store's opening weekend and fell head over heels. This cozy shop is filled with amazing finds that are styled beautifully, and the interior is so welcoming. Warm wood floors, dark gray walls, industrial and farmhouse furniture, with a dose of sparkling silver, all come together to create the perfect shopping experience. Here is a glimpse!

Lots of great Christmas present ideas (hint, hint)! Visit Isabella Sparrow here

Clover Market in Chestnut Hill

Two weeks ago, Clover Market debuted in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia. We got to shop the market together and were joined by our favorite blogger-in-training, Jillian's daughter.

It was a fabulous day filled with lots of great vendors and excellent finds. Here are just some of the wonderful things we spotted throughout the day.

Lots of pretty things and inspiration all around. Such a fun day!

Clover Market (September 2013)

Yay, It's Clover Market time again! This past Sunday marked the first Clover Market of the Fall and it was great! Many of the same vendors were back but there were a lot of new faces, too. It felt bigger and better than ever. We lucked out with the weather—it was absolutely gorgeous! Sunday was the perfect day for marketing.

Here is just a sampling of what I discovered.

There really was so much more, though! A great selection of vintage and handmade goods including furniture, home accessories, jewelry, and items for kids. They even had face painting for children!

The next Clover Market is scheduled for October 13th. (Check here for details). Hope to see you there!

Decorating with Flash Cards

Inspired by Sarah Richardson and her framed flash cards, I thought I would give this a try for my gallery wall.

A couple of years ago, I picked up these vintage alphabet flash cards from Clover Market. They are so tiny and cute! Perfect for writing little messages.

I have a bunch of empty frames without glass that I have collected over the years, too. So I picked one out, painted it white, and lined the back with handmade paper from Pearl River. I simply used double stick tape to adhere the flashcards to the paper, and then spelled out my happy little message.

It's a very different look from Sarah's, but I am thrilled with the way it turned out. I love that I can switch out the message anytime, too.
